I am interested in strategic and organizational issues pertaining to
information
technologies. I have conducted a variety of studies on
organizational
adoption of technologies and the impact of these technologies at the
organizational
and inter-organizational units of analysis, including the intermediate
impacts of IT on business process change. I am open to drawing
from
various reference disciplines as long as there is sufficient value
added
in terms of both relevance and theory reconstitution. While much
of my work has been positivist in nature, using empirical survey-based
methods, I am open to other methods. I do believe however
that
the nature of the problem and associated research questions drives the
method.
