Research Interests:

My research deals with the design, evolution, and management of complex techno-organizational systems.  The research often blends methods from organizational science and software engineering.  There are three interrelated streams in my research.

Theme 1:  Knowledge codification for designing and evolving complex IT systems in organizations with theory bases that include ontology, heuristics, and cognitive sciences.

Theme 2:  Alternative research paradigms for researching complex IT systems, such as design sciences, with investigations in epistemology, philosophy of science, and research methods.

Theme 3:  Managing the implementation and deployment of complex, integrated IT systems in organizations with emphasis areas such as risk management and project management.
