Raymond Caron was named president of CIGNA Systems in March 1988. He is responsible for all systems development, data processing and telecommunications functions for CIGNA companies worldwide. Mr. Caron is a member of the Research Board and the Conference Board's Council of North American Information Management Executives. He also serves as a board member of the Mayor's Commission on Literacy in Philadelphia. Mr. Caron attended the University of Connecticut.
Sirkka L. Jarvenpaa is an associate professor of information systems at the University of Texas at Austin. She currently serves as a Marvin Bower Fellow at Harvard Business School. She is an associate editor for MIS Quarterly, Management Science, Information Systems Research, Database, and the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication. Her research focuses on the role and the use of information technology in global business transformations. Her latest work is on the emerging business models of organizations in the era of global electronic commerce.
Donna B. Stoddard has been an assistant professor in the Harvard Business School Management Information Systems area since 1991. She teaches in the first year of the M.B.A. program and as part of the faculty for the executive education course entitled Managing the Information Systems Resource. Her research focuses on managing change in business process redesign.
