Prior to submission, print a copy of this page, and "check" that each
item is completed. This will lessen the chance for delays as your paper
goes through the review process.
Initial Submission

Read detailed submission guidelines on web (see above).

Has not been published by nor is under review at another journal or as
a book or book chapter.

Note if presented at a conference or published in conference proceedings
or as working paper.

One electronic copy (in the form of an e-mail attachment) in Word or Wordperfect
for PC, with Arial font (Helvetica optional choice). Note: If paper
is accepted, graphics (usually figures) must be in GIF or Powerpoint format,
using the Arial (or Helvetica) font.

Electronic copy checked for viruses.

Double-spaced.
-
Cover letter/e-mail (required -- provide nominations for senior editor,
associate editor, and reviewers; also suggest appropriate section, such
as "Research Articles," "Issues and Opinions," etc.). For information on

Complete addresses of all authors (mailing address, phone and fax numbers,

Detailed response to reviewer/editor recommendations (1 electronic copy).

Author(s) biography.

Follow initial submission guidelines above.

Permission has been obtained in writing to reprint any copyrighted material
from another medium (sole responsibility, including any fees, of author(s)).

If paper is accepted, all authors must sign a "transfer of copyright" before
paper can be published. See copyright section
of author standards on WEB for additional information.
