MISQ Keyword Classification Scheme


Please note:

Two descriptors -- UF, USE -- are used in the classification scheme as relational attributes between keywords. The standard notation for these descriptors is as follows:
 

Keyword 1
DESCRIPTOR Keyword 2
Below are examples for the two descriptors used in the classification scheme as relational attributes.
        UF:  USED FOR:  indicates that keyword 1 should be used
             instead of its synonym, keyword 2.

             Keyword 1                  HIGH-LEVEL LANGUAGES
                UF  Keyword 2                   UF PROCEDURAL LANGUAGES
                                                UF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES

        USE: Indicates that keyword 2 should be used instead of
             keyword 1.

             Keyword 1                  INFORMATION QUALITY
                USE  Keyword 2                  USE INFORMATION ATTRIBUTES
