From a broad perspective, my research area is electronic commerce. More specifically, my research interests and focus are in two sub-areas: business-to-consumer (B2C) electronic commerce and electronic commerce strategy. My work in B2C electronic commerce focuses on a variety of topics including how website quality can be perceived as a signal of product quality and how impulsive buying behavior manifests in an online purchasing environment. My work in electronic commerce strategy focuses on such topics as how the perceived novelty of an IT innovation could be used as a facilitator for technology adoption as well as how organizations can align its strategic initiatives to compete more effectively in an electronic commerce domain.
